Double Roll Crusher

Product Overview

The double roll crusher (also known as twin roll crusher) is a high-efficiency crushing equipment supplied by our company, integrating advanced domestic and foreign technologies, mainly used for medium and fine crushing of brittle, medium-hard and soft materials such as coal, limestone, shale, gangue, coke, etc.

Compared with traditional crushing equipment, the double roll crusher adopts the structural form of double motor and double reducer driving the roll shaft, which has the advantages of large crushing ratio, uniform discharge particle size, compact structure, stable operation, low energy consumption and convenient maintenance. It is widely used in coal mines, mines, building materials, chemical industry, metallurgy and other industries.

This machine has simple and compact structure, few wearing parts, low operating cost, and is an ideal choice for small and medium-sized sand production lines and coal crushing lines.

Applications

Coal Crushing

Secondary and fine crushing of coal and coke

Limestone Crushing

Secondary and fine crushing of limestone and shale

Gangue Processing

Crushing and utilization of coal gangue and slag

Building Materials & Chemical

Secondary and fine crushing of building materials and chemical feed

Working Principle

Double Roll Crusher Roll Body Structure

Main Components

1.Frame 2.Fixed roller assembly 3.Fixed roller coupling 4.Reducer 5.Motor 6.Universal coupling 7.Housing 8.Hydraulic cylinder 9.Accumulator

The double roll crusher mainly relies on two relatively rotating rollers to pull materials into the crushing chamber through friction, and achieve material crushing through extrusion and grinding. The motor drives the driving roller to rotate through the reducer, and the driving roller drives the driven roller to rotate synchronously and in opposite directions through gear meshing. The material to be crushed falls into the crushing chamber between the two rollers from the feed inlet, and is gradually extruded and sheared under the rotating clamping action of the rollers. When the extrusion force exceeds the compressive strength of the material, the material is crushed and falls from the gap between the two rollers to complete the crushing process.

FAQ

Which materials is the double roll crusher suitable for?

It suits secondary and fine crushing of medium-hard and brittle materials such as coal, limestone, shale, coal gangue and slag.

How is the discharge size controlled?

The discharge size is controlled by adjusting the gap between the two rolls, producing uniform particles with low over-crushing.

What are the features of the double roll crusher?

Compact structure, small footprint, stable operation, and low operating cost with repairable or replaceable roll surfaces.

How do I choose between roll and hammer crushers?

The roll crusher produces uniform size with low over-crushing, ideal for uniform particle requirements; the hammer crusher offers a large crushing ratio for one-pass fine crushing.
