BF series flotation cell is a new type of self-priming mechanical stirring flotation machine developed based on SF type. It inherits the advantages of self-priming air and self-priming slurry, and can be arranged horizontally without foam pump.
The special impeller structure creates strong slurry circulation, with large air intake (up to 1.2 m³/m²·min), while power consumption is reduced by 15-30% compared to traditional models.
Widely used for roughing, scavenging and cleaning of non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, nickel, molybdenum, as well as ferrous metals and non-metallic minerals.
After agitation, negative pressure generated by the rotating impeller draws in air, which mixes thoroughly with the slurry in the tank to form numerous bubbles. Hydrophobic mineral particles attach to the bubbles and rise to the surface to form a froth layer, which is scraped out as concentrate, while hydrophilic gangue minerals remain in the tank and are discharged.
The BF flotation cell adopts a self-priming design that draws in both air and slurry without a foam pump, and can be arranged horizontally to simplify the process layout and reduce energy and maintenance costs.
